Do not purchase the shares which are less popular.
There are two reasons, at least, why they are unpopular. One is that investors hardly ever make profits, stemming from operational management or market difficulties. Another is that there are not many outstanding shares.
Today one friend of mine failed to sell 5,000 shares of a company's stock, since only 1,000 shares were waiting to purchase on the stock market at that time.
